Latest
Move funds between Core budgets
A new Move funds action on the customer profile lets you reallocate funds between Core sub-categories without going through a plan variation. Same plan, same Core group, immediate effect.
What's new
-
"Move funds" button on the support plan
Opens a modal where you pick the source budget, the destination budget, and the amount. Balance previews before and after on both sides so you can sanity-check before saving. Available wherever you'd see the funding section, on customers with Core flexible budgets.
-
Limited to Core sub-categories
You can move within Core only. Moves across budget groups (Core into Capacity Building, etc.) still need a plan variation through the NDIS. The article covers what to do in that case.

SMS approvals and the dashboard refresh
Two visible changes this release. SMS approvals are now live, and the dashboard has been tidied up so the metrics panel sits flush on the right.
What's new
-
Customers and contacts can approve invoices by text
Set Approval method to SMS on the approver's record and Navigator sends a text message with a short link plus YES/NO reply codes. Replies are processed automatically and the invoice moves through the same workflow as email approvals.
-
Dashboard metrics panel layout fix
Tasks metrics and Invoices metrics now use a consistent 2-column tile layout. No data changes, just easier to scan.
Heads-up
-
Suppliers replying with STOP will be opted out at the carrier level
Australian SMS regulations require this. Once a number has opted out, future SMS sends to that number fail silently. Switch the approver's channel to email and ask them to text START to re-enrol.

Automated invoice replies
Inbound invoices now get an automatic email reply: an acknowledgement when they pass validation, or a rejection email listing exactly what's wrong. Suppliers stop having to ask "did you get my invoice?" and clean invoices flow through without your team touching them.
What's new
-
Acknowledgement emails for clean invoices
If the supplier has claimed their Kismet provider profile, the email links to their dashboard. If not, it includes a one-click way to claim it.
-
Rejection emails for invoices with issues
Lists each problem (ABN mismatch, totals don't add up, ECEI code on an adult, etc.) so the supplier can fix and resend without back-and-forth. The reply threads onto the original email conversation.
-
Per-supplier opt-out
Tick Auto-reply disabled on a supplier record if you want to handle their replies manually (e.g. during an active dispute). Validation still runs, just no automated email goes out.

Status name changes (UI labels)
Some invoice statuses have new names to better match what's actually happening. No change to the workflow or what each status means, only the wording you'll see on screen.
What's new
-
"Funding approved" is now "NDIS Claim Paid"
Same status. The new name reflects that the NDIS has actually paid the claim, not just approved it.
-
"Funding disputed" is now "NDIS Claim Disputed"; "Funding rejected" is now "NDIS Claim Rejected"
Wording lined up with the rest of the NDIS Claim status family.
-
"Missing approval" is now "Approval not sent"
More accurate. Nothing's missing, the request just hasn't gone out yet.
Heads-up
-
If you have saved filters, exports, or reports referencing the old names
Update them to use the new labels. The underlying data is the same so no records are lost.
Older releases will appear here as updates are published. Check back regularly, or ask your Kismet contact for the full change history.
